REVALIER is a fully licenced Trust Company in Liechtenstein and performs tailored services for its international clients in the fields of the establishment and administration of domestic and foreign entities with the objects of estate planning, asset protection, philanthropy, family office and compliance services.

The roots of Revalier Aktiengesellschaft date back to the 1940s, when attorney-at-law Viktor Wohlwend laid the foundation for what has become today’s firm. Following his untimely passing in 1953, he left behind his wife and four children between the ages of three and thirteen. In view of these exceptional circumstances, the Government of Liechtenstein granted her a special permit to continue operating the fiduciary business as its managing director, despite her having no formal professional qualification in the field. With the support of an attorney-at-law, outstanding entrepreneurial instinct and a remarkable ability to build trusted client relationships, she successfully led the business and became an exceptional businesswoman for her time.

In 1978, Reinhold Viktor Wohlwend assumed responsibility for the firm at the age of just 28. Over the following three decades, he steadily developed the family business, building long-standing client relationships through a personal, trustworthy and long-term approach to advisory services.

In 2013, Reinhold Wohlwend succeeded his father. Six years later, the historically grown family businesses were consolidated into what is today Revalier Aktiengesellschaft.

The name Revalier is a coined name. Inspired by the French word Chevalier (knight), it reflects the timeless values traditionally associated with knighthood – integrity, loyalty, responsibility and service – combined with a commitment to preserving lasting value. Mr Reinhold Wohlwend holds a degree in Financial and Trust Services from the University of Liechtenstein (B.Sc.). He has been a fully licensed Trustee in Liechtenstein since 2014. As the Owner and Managing Director of REVALIER, he is carrying on the family business in the third generation and advises its international clients by offering comprehensive financial services.

Mr Renzo Zanolari holds a law degree from the University of Bern. He served as Head of the Professional Advisors and Trust Officers Department at a well-known trust company in Liechtenstein for six years before gaining more than 20 years of experience with two further trust companies in Liechtenstein. Earlier in his career, he worked for a law firm and the Administrative Court of Graubünden, Switzerland. He also spent time in Paris and Florence to further develop his French and Italian language skills.
